FAQ

Which tuning is supported?

Standard 6-string guitar tuning: E2–A2–D3–G3–B3–E4. The fretboard maps every note across 0–12.

Do you pitch-shift the samples?

No. Each cell expects its own file in /sounds2. This preserves tone and avoids artifacts.

My note doesn’t play—what should I check?

Most likely a filename mismatch. The player tries multiple filename formats, but the exact octave must exist.

What does Play Mode do?

Choose Asc (once), Asc→Desc (once), or Asc (loop). Tempo controls note rate; Stop instantly halts and clears highlights.

Left-handed view?

Yes. Toggle Left-Handed to flip the fretboard rows.
