How do I use the Mandolin Scale Finder?

Select a root note and scale type, then click “Show Scale”. The scale appears on the mandolin fretboard and staff. Click notes to hear real mandolin samples.

What tuning does it use?

This tool uses standard mandolin tuning: G3, D4, A4, E5.

Can I adjust playback speed?

Yes. Use the Tempo slider to change playback speed in BPM.

Why don't I hear sound?

Ensure your volume is up and the browser allows audio playback. Check that your files are correctly placed in the sounds4/ folder and match expected names (example: Csharp4.wav for C#4).

What does Play Mode do?

Choose Asc (once), Asc→Desc (once), or Asc (loop). Tempo controls note rate; Stop instantly halts and clears highlights.
