How do I use the Scale Finder Tool?
Select a root note and scale type, then click "Show Scale". The scale will be displayed on the fretboard and the music staff. You can also play the scale ascending or descending using the buttons provided.
What instruments are supported?
This tool is optimized for guitar in standard tuning. It visually maps scale notes onto a 6-string fretboard and plays corresponding audio samples.
Why don't I hear any sound?
Make sure your volume is on and that your browser has permission to play audio. Also verify that you’re using a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
Can I adjust the playback speed?
Yes! Use the Tempo slider to set your desired BPM (beats per minute) for scale playback.
How accurate is the pitch playback?
The audio uses original pitch-matched .wav files for each note. It’s designed to offer realistic tonal reference for practice and ear training.
